Why it doesn't work

When the core doesn't work as a whole

Most people come to me with a specific problem — most often a bulging, weakened belly, back pain, diastasis, reflux, incontinence (urinary leakage) or prolapse (a dropping uterus).

All these issues share one thing: they are disorders of the deep core. Classic strengthening often makes them worse, because it pushes pressure down and out.

The solution

How the hypopressive method works, briefly

Instead of clenching muscles, we change the pressure inside your core. It works in 3 steps:

  1. Reducing pressure: with a special breathing technique we create a “negative pressure” (vacuum) in the abdomen that gently lifts the internal organs and pelvic floor upward.
  2. Activation from within: this vacuum automatically, without any conscious clenching, engages the deepest muscles of the abdomen and pelvic floor.
  3. Nervous system reset: through breath we calm the nervous system, which then starts using the core muscles correctly again — automatically during everyday movement, walking and standing.
